American Weapons Killing American Soldiers
In a recent statement by Amnesty International, the NGO reports that many of the weapons being supplied to the Iraqi security forces are ending up in the hands of al-Qaeda operatives. The lack of accountability in the weapons supply, specifically from the US and UK, is astounding. Many of these arms have been found to be used by the terrorist cell, a problem which could have easily been prevented with a better system in place. Logically speaking, it is more than feasible that these American and British weapons in the hands of al-Qaeda have been used in attacks on and even killings of American and allied troops in Iraq.
