Violence Between Palestinians Causes 11 Deaths in Gaza
Demonstrating that violence is not limited to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Gazan Doghmush clan and Hamas clashed this week. The result — 11 deaths and 40 wounded. The Doghmush, said “to have links with both criminal and extremist jihad activity,” are one of the most feared groups in Gaza. They were responsible for the kidnapping and lengthy confinement of BBC reporter, Alan Johnston, last year.
