Pakistani President Invited to Visit Saudi Arabia
King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has extended an open invitation to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari to visit the kingdom. Currently Zardari’s staff is working on setting up the visit, which will most likely take place in the first week of November and last about 3 days. The two leaders are to sit down for extended talks, and Zardari is to meet with Saudi Arabia’s financial minister to gain advice about Pakistan’s troubled economy. In addition to time in Riyadh, the Pakistani President will also visit Medina and Mecca and then continue on to Qatar and Kuwait before returning home.
