Nader Criticizes Obama and McCain on Lebanon
Current United States presidential candidate Ralph Nader spoke with Lebanese news sources today about how both Obama and McCain would implement harmful policies on Lebanon. No matter who wins, Nader claims both will be bad for the nation. Both senators voted for the bill supporting Israel in their war in the south of Lebanon in July of 2006. He said they would follow the same example set by George W. Bush when he supplied Israel with weapons for that war.
Nader himself is of Lebanese decent, and feels “the west is causing Lebanon to break up by supporting the Lebanese criminals and war lords.” Nader went on to say that if he were president, there would be no more puppet governments in Lebanon and he would give Lebanon the financial and political support they need. He warns the Lebanese government and people not to form alliances with a nation that has betrayed them in the past. Would anyone take that advice seriously? Let’s hope not.
