Syria and Sudan Look to Extend Bilateral Cooperation
Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri met and deliberated with Sudanese Industry Minister Jalal Youssef al-Daker. They discussed present and future relations between their countries, focusing on elevating the participation in all aspects, especially in the political and economic arenas. Ottri underscored the significance and continued support of the Sudanese social reconstruction process, in addition highlighting the meeting of the Syrian-Sudanese Higher Committee in its next session in Khartoum next month. Syria, despite past appearances of isolationism, looks to be placing itself in the forefront of the international stage in its region and extending itself in a more positive light.
