Saudi Olive Festival Helps Local Farmers
On Saturday, Prince Fahd bin Badr opened the second Olive Festival in Sakaka. The Prince hopes the event will attract local and international investors to Saudi agricultural products. The event offers a chance for farmers to sell produce. Last year at the first festival, olive sales soared over SR10 million. The General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (GCTA) has approved numerous other agricultural festivals to help increase tourism and income for the people of Saudi Arabia.
