Israel: Livni’s Bodyguard Interrupts Live Interview
ABC reports that earlier today a suspected break in to Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni’s home occurred. Livni was conducting a radio interview and promoting her election when one of her bodyguards accidentally broadcast an alert over her phone that she was using to give the interview. The bodyguard, who unknowingly had tapped into the phone she was using, kept summoning the police to her house because the “intruder alert” alarm was sounding; little did he realize that Livni was on the radio and that he had just publicly disclosed where Livni’s home is located.
Livni, a lawyer and former Mossad spy hopes to succeed Israel’s current prime minister, Ehud Olmert, in the February 10th elections.
